Voting on Polling Day

On June 11, 2012, polling stations will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

In addition, you will receive in your domicile the “reminder card” (example) indicating the address of your polling station.

Identification of the elector

To vote, you have to establish your identity by presenting one of the following documents:

Four Hours to go and Vote – It’s your Right!

On polling day, June 11, 2012, your employer must give you at least four consecutive hours to go and vote when polls are open.

How to Vote

Simply mark the ballot paper (example) only in one of the circles using exclusively the pencil that will be provided to you by the deputy returning officer.

The Directeur général des élections du Québec is again test running a new voting ballot featuring a photograph of the candidates.
